Bio

Cory Goff enters his first season as a member of the Florida State College at Jacksonville baseball coaching staff. He serves as the recruiting coordinator and assists with coaching outfielders, hitters, and baserunners.

Prior to joining FSCJ, Goff was the head coach at Riverside High School from 2021 to 2024. In 2024, he led Riverside to a 14–12 record, marking the program’s first winning season since 2015. Before his time at Riverside, Goff served as a student manager for the University of North Florida (UNF) baseball team from 2016 to 2018, working under head coaches Smoke Laval and Tim Parenton. In 2019, he worked within the Milwaukee Brewers organization. The following year, he joined the UNF baseball coaching staff as the director of baseball operations, overseeing day-to-day program logistics, recruiting coordination, athletic department liaison duties, and team travel.

In addition to his high school and collegiate coaching experience, Goff is also the head coach of the 19U American Legion Baseball Post 316 team based in Jacksonville, FL. Under his leadership, Post 316 has won back-to-back state championships in 2024 and 2025, including a top-20 national finish in 2025.

A Jacksonville native, Goff is the son of Gary Goff and the late Amy Goff. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Florida in 2019.
