Bio
Yalitza Santos joins the Florida State College at Jacksonville volleyball program as an assistant coach, bringing over a decade of coaching and athletic administration experience. Currently, she serves as Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at San Jose Schools, where she leads the varsity volleyball program while supporting athletic operations. Her coaching focuses on skill development, strategic preparation, and fostering a strong team culture.
In addition to her school roles, Santos has extensive club coaching experience, including coaching competitive AAU Nationals teams since 2022 and leading youth clinics at the YMCA. Earlier in her career, she was an athletic director and coach at Global Outreach Charter Academy, where she grew student participation and created inclusive sports programs.
Santos holds a B.S. in Psychology from Regent University and is completing an M.A. in Educational Administration at Grand Canyon University (expected 2025). Her educational background enhances her holistic approach to coaching, combining athletic development with emotional intelligence and leadership growth.
